Keeping it all even.

Tonight at work, I was going through the same old routine: taking orders, running food, yada yada...all while wearing a fake smile and pretending like I love my job.  (You see, I wanted to be an actress when I was younger and my acting skills come in handy in this line of work.)  Back to the point, it got me thinking about all the "jobs" I currently hold and how it's not easy to balance them all.  (Hence, the new name of my blog.)  On top of working in the restaurant for six years, I am a student.  I have one year left until I will leave this job and begin teaching.  Yay...it can't come soon enough.

Because of my class and work schedule, it's not easy to make sure I give attention to my family, fiance, and friends.  Some of them complain that I never have free time because my schedule stays pretty full.  But, what can I do?  I don't really have a choice.  I'm being pulled in five directions, trying to stay afloat.  I suppose life will always be a balancing act; I just have to learn to adapt.
